RV Holding Tank Maintenance Tips

V holding tank maintenance is essential to prevent backups and keep odors at bay. In this video tutorial, one of our Lazydays RV service experts explains how to properly care for your water tanks.

Most recreational vehicles have three RV holding tanks: fresh water, gray water and black water. In addition to periodically dumping your gray and black water tanks while traveling, you should add chemicals to clean and deodorize these tanks as part of your routine RV maintenance. It’s also important to flush each RV holding tank before putting your unit in storage.
